The Boy in Mom’s Basement by John Tuohey (New)

At 18 years of age, Lance leaves the basement where he has spent much of his life. He goes looking for three things: adulthood, love, and lust. He is armed with a quick mind, which is filled with mostly useless information, gleaned from his mother's fan magazines, and the used library books that she purchased at five dollars per shopping-bag full. He finds unlikely friends, who try to mold him into a functioning human being.
In the process of learning all he needs, he discovers that becoming an adult requires more than gaining full size; that love i complicated; and that lust can interfere with finding adulthood and love.
